Very close to YCAC nice child friendly area near many nice parks.

I recommend Saint Maur International School for their wonderful community. YCAC is a great club to do sports and socialize. Negishi park is close by and always a great time.

【 Which place is best in Japan 】

Yokohama is wonderful for families and the Yamate, Honmoku area very foreigner friendly.

Good point the House or Apartment: 

The apartment is very conveniently located, right next door to Aeon, and with access to three good parks within walking distance. Even though the apartment is far away from the train station, the bus connectivity is very good, hence never felt difficulty in accessing the station. In addition, Negishi station and Motomachi station is equal distance from the apartment, hence you have a choice between the two. There are two good international schools nearby, St Maur and Yokohoma international, which makes this apartment an ideal location to stay. The house we stayed in was in the 10th floor and corner apartment, which had lots of natural light, hence making it a very happy place to stay. 

 

Town Information for next customer:

Honmoku is a lovely place to stay, with wide roads, good parks, Aeon, proximity to two train stations and access to two good international school makes it a perfect place, if looking to stay away from the busy area. Special thanks to Yoko san, who was extremely helpful with the complete house search and  final settlement, true to the spirit of Japanese hospitality. 

 

Your recommended place or restaurant, park, school in Yokohama :

I would definitely recommend St. Maur International as the school for younger kids, and Yokohama for older ones. All the nearby parks are very good, I especially like Sancho park. 

 

Which place is your favorite in Japan:

There is not one favourite place in Japan, the entire country is beautiful, very rich in culture and the people are extremely friendly, and there is no place in the entire world which is as customer centric as Japan. I just wish if people spoke a little bit of English, it would have made it a lot easier.

The large size and beautiful neighborhood was amazing. It was close to parks and nature trails. The community has a grocery store near by and the schools are amazing. Everyone is helpful yet gives you privacy. This has been the most favorite home I have lived in all adult life. My children and I loved this house as it was part of the family.

Our Honmokumotomachi community was pleasant we had to complaints. I would have to love to live in that house longer. We only moved because we are leaving Japan

I recommend the nature trails nearby, the Hawaiian restaurant and the parks are great.

Town Information for next customer: Yokohama is Japan's second largest city with a population of over three million. Yokohama is located less than half an hour south of Tokyo by train, and is the capital of Kanagawa Prefecture. Until today, Yokohama remains popular among expats, has one of the world's largest Chinatown and preserves some former Western residences in the Yamate district. Your recommend place or restaurant, park, school in Yokohama: Schools: from Kindergarten up to Highschool around Heiraku are relatively near, all within walking distance. Parks: Negishi Forest Park are within walking distance, where there are also others park within 10mins drive: Honmoku Sancho Park and Sankeien Granden. Restaurant: When it comes to food is such a headache because there are way too many selection, start with Honmoku area, then Ishikawacho Chinatown, Kanai Isezaki mall, Sakuragicho Red Brick area, Minatomirai, Yokohama Station ect...
